METHANEX SITE ORIENTATION (Geismar LA)

Course Information

Methanex Site Orientation is the site specific for The Methanex facility in Geismar, LA. The course is a 45-minute training course that will provide new contractors and employees the information they need to perform their job safely and effectively.  Topics covered in this orientation include:  General Policies, General Safety, Hazard Identification, Vehicle and Mobile Equipment Safety, Hazard Communication, Personal Protective Equipment, Elevated Work Surfaces, Hand and Power Tools, Electrical Safety and Lockout/Tagout, Work Permits, Environmental, and Emergency Procedures.  Upon completion of the course, participants will have a clear understanding of what will be expected of them as they prepare to work in the Methanex Geismar facility.
