Course Information

FORKLIFT OPERATOR RE-CERTIFICATION TRAINING

This course includes classroom instruction, CBT Test, hands-on training, and a performance evaluation for the Re-Certification of a fork lift operator. The following topics are covered:

• Regulations of forklift operation
• Common types of forklifts and their components
• Pre-Use inspections
• Location of controls and instrumentation
• Vehicle stability and capacity
• Techniques and stratagies for safe operation
• Steering and maneuvering skills
• Refueling and charging procedures
• Worksite inspections/procedures

Students are required to successfully complete all phases to receive certification.

Trainees  are required to wear worksite clothing and bring basic PPE for hand-on training activities (Hardhat, Safety glasses, gloves, high visibility vest and steel toed boots).
