Course Information

This course includes classroom instruction, CBT test, hands-on training and a performance evaluation.
The following topics are covered: regulations for forklift operation, common types of forklifts and their components, pre-use inspections, location of controls and instrumentation, vehicle stability and capacity, techniques and strategies for safe operation, steering and maneuvering skills, refueling and charging procedures and worksite inspections/procedures.
